Welcome to Hanham Woods Academy, a proud member of the Cabot Learning Federation. We are a 'Good' school (Ofsted 2019), whose mission is to give people the best chance of success. We are developing a culture built on positive relationships and mutual respect. We hold the highest expectations and aspirations for our students and their families. We want students to 'climb the mountain' to become the best possible version of themselves so that they can have a positive impact in society and lead a happy, purposeful life.

The Academy has developed a world class knowledge rich curriculum in collaboration with the Cabot Learning Federation, which is delivered by highly skilled, committed teaching colleagues. We want students to know and remember more so that they can become critical thinkers across multiple disciplines. We expect students to work hard so they can achieve more than they ever thought possible. We also support young people to become confident, tolerant, and caring individuals who follow their passions to find a sense of meaning in the world.
