Activities Day – Friday 11th July 2025 – Bowling, Aspects, Longwell Green (Selected Students Only)
Dear Parent/Carer
We are delighted to confirm your child’s place on the Bowling Trip on Friday 11th July.
Students will need to arrive at HWA at the later time of 8.45am and go to the Foyer for registration. We will be leaving the Academy at 9.15am and returning before 3pm for the usual end of Academy Day:
- 8:45am: Arrive at HWA
- 9:15am: Depart HWA for Longwell Green Bowling
- 10-10:15am: Arrive Longwell Green Bowling
- 10:15am-11:00am: Arcades & Recreational free time
- 11:00am-12:30pm: Bowling & Food
- 12:30pm-1:45pm: Arcades & Recreational free time
- 2pm: Depart Longwell Green Bowling
- 2:45/3pm: Arrive back at HWA
Students will need to wear comfortable clothing, waterproof coat/shoes and bring a water bottle. Please be aware that bowling will be in lanes consisting of 8 students. If your child has a good idea of the group of 8 they wish to be in, then this will save time on the day.
To ensure that we have all the relevant information, please complete the Essential Information and Medical Form and complete your child’s meal order by Friday 27th June 2025.

We will also be providing students with time to spend in the arcades, please ensure that students have money to spend if this is something that they would like to do.
