Instrumental and Singing Lessons at Hanham Woods
Dear Parents/Carers
We are excited to offer students the opportunity to develop their musical talents through specialist instrumental lessons provided by the West of England Music Hub. These lessons allow students to focus on a chosen instrument and build skills that will enrich their musical journey.
Why take instrumental lessons?
- Enhance musical ability and confidence
- Support GCSE Music performance components
- Gain additional qualifications that strengthen further education applications
We currently have spaces available for guitar and drum lessons at HWA, with other instruments also offered through the Music Hub.
To view instrument choices, prices, and book lessons, please use the following link: View and Book Instrument Lessons
For assistance, contact the Music Hub directly at music@wema.org.uk
Lessons are arranged through the hub, and teachers visit Hanham Woods during the academy day.
Singing Lessons
From January 2026, we also have availability for individual or small-group singing lessons with our in-house teacher. If you are interested in your child(ren) having singing lessons, then please contact me in the first instance at rachel.linnegar@clf.uk. Once agreed, these can then be paid for using Scopay.
If you have any questions, please email rachel.linnegar@clf.uk.

Many thanks
