Parent & Carer Update: School Day Arrangements and Industrial Action

Dear Parent & Carer

I hope the weekend has been cooler and more manageable. It is projected that temperatures are much cooler on Monday making the school day more comfortable. Lessons will run as normal and there are no planned adjustments, students are to wear their normal school uniform (Black trouser, dress shorts or pleated skirt, white shirt and house tie). Thank you for supporting these standards.

I have not received the anticipated communication from the NEU regarding the outcome of the ballot that closed at 12 noon yesterday (Saturday).

I understand this will be very frustrating for you and your family as we had been promised the outcome would be shared.

Unfortunately, I am still unable to share any news or provide advance warning of adjustments we will need to make should industrial action still take place on Thursday and Friday this week, or Monday to Wednesday the week after.

My commitment is to provide as much notice as possible to families, I will of course update you once I have received the update and outcome of the Ballot.
