Year 10 Virtual Parents’ Evening – Date Change to Thursday 9th February 2023 – 4pm to 7pm
Please be aware that Parents’ Evening is on Thursday 9th February following on from Term 3 assessments that took place during week commencing 23rd January 2023. This is a change to the previously calendared date.
This evening will provide a formal opportunity to discuss with your son/daughter’s subject teachers, their current performance and targets for further improvement. It is, therefore, an important part of our Academy calendar and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you online on that evening. Appointments start at 4pm and finish at 7pm.
The booking system for this evening is electronic. Parents/Carers will now be able to book virtual appointments with teachers directly via an online booking system. To do this please see the link: https://hanhamwoods.schoolcloud.co.uk (there is also a link to this website on our Academy website) where you will be asked for your details to access appointments. If you are unsure of your son/daughter’s tutor group, then please ask them for this information. To assist with booking video calls, we have produced the following Parents Evening Video Appointments Guide
The system opens for bookings on Monday 30 January 2023 at 2pm.
In advance of this evening, your son/daughter’s most recent progress check, will be made available to you. This information is being shared in advance of the subject progress meetings, so that you can analyse the data and be fully aware of your son/daughter’s progress ahead of the evening itself.
Appointments are scheduled on a first come first served basis, therefore, we would encourage you to do this as soon as is possible to avoid disappointment. Once you have made appointments, you will receive an email confirming the appointments you have made. Should you wish to make any changes after this date or you do not have access to the internet, please contact Main Reception who will be happy to add/amend appointments on your behalf.
