Year 11 After-Academy Sessions & February PPEs
Dear Parents and Carers of Year 11,
Thank you for all of your ongoing support with supporting your child navigate the start of term 3. This is an incredibly important phase of year 11, with students engaging in targeted feedback within lessons based upon weaknesses from the previous round of examinations in November.
This makes it imperative that students are best utilising their time with engaging in proactive study and thus I wanted to write to you regarding a reminder of our after-academy intervention programme. All sessions run from 3:00 – 3:50pm and we are currently on a ‘week 2’. See below for the offer of subjects available to students.
Your support is essential in helping students make positive choices for their revision and so please encourage your child to attend every evening after the academy day.
I will be in contact over the next few weeks regarding the next (and final) round of Pre Public Examinations (PPE’s also known as ‘mock exams’). These will commence on the final week of this term (week beginning 9th February).
