Dear Parents and Carers,
Year 11 End-of-Term Inflatables Event – Friday 20th May
As we near the end of a very challenging term, we are pleased to let you know that Year 11 students will be taking part in an inflatables event this Friday during Periods 4 and 5 (1:00pm–3:00pm). There will also be an ice cream van in attendance, and students will be able to purchase an ice cream if they wish.
With the current weather forecast predicting warm and sunny conditions, it is important that students come prepared for the afternoon. Please ensure that your child:
- Applies sun cream before coming to school
- Brings a hat or cap
- Has a refillable bottle of water with them
Students should attend school wearing their Hanham Woods Academy PE kit for the day. The exception to this is GCSE PE students, who must wear full school uniform for their examination in the morning. These students will be able to change into their PE kit during their later break after the exam.
