Year 7 Virtual Tutor Evenings – 23rd to 27th November 2020
Dear Parents/Carers,
Further to recent communications rescheduling the Year 7 Tutor Evening, this will take place using video calls ONLY between Monday 23rd – Friday 27th November 2020: 3.15pm – 5.45pm
This will be an opportunity for you to meet with your child’s tutor and to discuss with them how they have settled in to life as a Year 7 student at Hanham Woods Academy. These meetings are a great chance to build a relationship with your child’s tutor and to help deal with any issues or queries that you may have; the appointments will last for no more than 5 minutes, this is not an evening where you book appointments to see your child’s subject teachers.
Parents/Carers can now book appointments with teachers directly via an online booking system. To do this visit https://hanhamwoods.schoolcloud.co.uk where you will be asked to enter your details to access appointments. Once logged in you will have to select the most convenient appointment available with your son/daughter’s tutor. If your child has two tutors who share the tutor group, you will see both tutors and their available appointments across the week; however, you will only be able to book an appointment with one of these tutors.
Appointment bookings open on Thursday 19th November 2020 at 9am and will close at 12pm on Monday 23rd November 2020. Appointments are scheduled on a first come first served basis, therefore, we would encourage you to do this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Once you have made appointments, you will receive an email confirming the appointments you have made. Should you wish to make any changes after this date or you do not have access to the internet, please contact Main Reception who will be happy to add/amend appointments on your behalf.
