Barcelona trip (Selected Students Only)

Dear Parents / Carers,

I wanted to take the time to thank you for being very quick and proactive at providing the paperwork and deposit on time to ensure a smooth running of things in the past few weeks. As you know, the cost of the trip has been a challenge to keep to a reasonably affordable figure.

However, after much deliberation and thoughts going into the Barcelona trip, it is with much regret I write to inform you that we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel it. A huge amount of work has gone into trying to provide this great opportunity to students, but unfortunately, we do not have enough students signed up to make the trip financially viable.

We share your frustration and sadness in having to cancel the trip and will look to offer the opportunity again in the next academic year. As always, I will do my very best to keep it affordable and inclusive to all students and parents.

I will shortly be informing students of our decision and will invite them to a meeting, but I wanted to let you know in advance of students knowing.

You will be entitled to a full refund on the money you have paid so far and our finance officer, Mrs Davis, will contact you via email with instructions on how to claim the refund.

Once more, thank you very much for your efficiency, and I will look forward to organising a trip for the next coming academic year.
