End of term 1 arrangements
Dear Parents / Carers,
As we approach the end of Term, I wanted to thank you for your support and feedback during Term 1 which has really helped to further improve the Academy.
Students have made a really strong start to the Academic year with the vast majority rising up to meet our High Expectations which has contributed to a calm and purposeful Academy environment. We look to further build on this as we move into Term 2 to ensure we give people the best chance of success.
The purpose of this letter is to clarify end of term 1 arrangements:
The last day of term 1 for students is Wednesday 19th October (normal Academy day finishing at 15:00).
As we approach the end of term all students should be aiming for 100% attendance next week. Attending every day next week (3 days: Monday to Wednesday) will ensure that students get to take part in:
- end of term celebration
- house competitions
- enrichment activities
- vital learning activities in lessons that will set them up for further success in Term 2
- receive important safeguarding information about how to keep themselves safe over half term and what support is available to access
