Envision Programme – Three Trips to Local Business Mentor – Turner & Townsend
Dear Parent/Carer
As you know, your child has been selected by their teachers to take part in the Envision Programme, running in weekly sessions for 12 weeks from October 2023 to January 2024.
To remind you, the Envision Programme is a cross-school active citizenship competition. Young people will work with the Envision Programme Coordinators and volunteer mentors from a local business to design, develop, and deliver a social action project which will have a positive impact in their school community.
The programme is carefully designed to build confidence and support young people in developing essential skills for their future, whilst creating opportunities for meaningful engagements with mentors from the world of business.
Local Business Mentor – Turner & Townsend
Our local business mentor is Turner & Townsend, who are a global professional services company with over 10,000 people in 48 countries. Collaborating with clients across real state, infrastructure and nature resources sectors, they specialise in major programmes, programme management, cost and commercial management, net zero and digital solutions.
Date of Trips
Date of trip to the business mentors offices, Turner & Townsend, in Redcliffe:
- Thursday 14th December 9am – 11:30am.
Date of Envision Finale happening at the University of Bristol:
- Tuesday 23rd January 10am – 1pm.
There is no cost for the above trips.
