Letter from The Principal
Dear Parents/Carers
I wanted to write to you personally and inform you that after careful consideration, and having reflected on the journey that we have been on together, I took a decision to apply for an opportunity that represents a promotion and next step for me. Having been successful in that process this week I wanted to ensure that I write to you as soon as possible to inform you that I will be moving on from Hanham and taking up the role of Deputy CEO of a Multi Academy Trust in Wiltshire on 1st September 2021. Whilst I am very excited by this new role I have more than a hint of sadness to be leaving Hanham Woods Academy.
The Cabot Learning Federation will begin the process of recruiting a new Principal for Hanham Woods Academy very shortly. I am very grateful for all the support and challenge that parents/carers have offered me during my 5 years at Hanham; I will continue to strive to deliver the best possible education to the young people of Hanham in my remaining time at the Academy.
