LikeToBe South West Careers Event 2021
Dear Parents/Carers
On Thursday 21st October the online careers platform: LikeToBe, will be bringing together employers, education providers, students and young people in their virtual South West Career Event.
This will take place from 9am until 7pm and will include bespoke workshops from South West providers such as Preparing for University, Employability & Skills Builder Partnerships, Creative & Digital Industries, as well as Well-being practitioners for Young People.
As Thursday 21st October is a training day for staff, and the Academy is closed to students, the expectation is that Year 11 should use this opportunity to engage with this informative event. At the beginning of next week Year 11 will be using their tutor time to create an account for LikeToBe so they are able to register for different workshops and encounters that interest them.
