Parent / Carer Forum – Thursday 28th November 2024

Dear Parents / Carers, 

Our first Parent / Carer Forum of the year will take place on Thursday 28th November, 17:00 – 18:00 via Microsoft Teams using this link: Parent Carer Forum Teams Link  

The purpose of Parent/Carer forums is to provide you with further insight into the Academy and provide ways in which you can continue to support your child.  

Next week’s forum will focus on Literacy and will be led by our Curriculum and Literacy lead Mrs Gardner. In the session there will be… 

• A brief Academy update from Mr O’Callaghan 

• An introduction to our Literacy strategy 

• Developing literacy across the curriculum / in lessons 

• Reading for pleasure 

• How parents/carers can support reading
