Safety Message

Dear Parents/Carers

We have been made aware of a couple of incidents in the community at the end of the Academy day involving strangers acting inappropriately.

We will increase our duty presence in the immediate vicinity of the Academy; however, please do speak with your child about their personal safety travelling to and from the Academy. These should include:

• Never walking to or from the Academy alone
• Always being vigilant whilst walking / scooting / cycling
• Reporting anything they are concerned about to a trusted adult
• Calling 999 if they feel unsafe at any point

We will communicate this to students via assemblies next week but your support in having these discussions at home will be invaluable.
