SELECTED STUDENTS ONLY – ESAA Track and Field Cup Regional Championships Tuesday, 18th June 2024 – Exeter Arena
Dear Parents/Carers
Your child has been selected to represent Hanham Woods Academy and compete in the ESAA Track and Field Cup on Tuesday 18th June. This is due to their outstanding 2nd place finish in the Avon qualifier at Yate Outdoor Sports Complex last month. This event is being held at the Exeter Arena, Exhibition Field, Summer Ln, Exeter EX4 8NT.
This is a whole-day event and your child will need to be at the Academy for 8.15am and meet in the sports hall. We will return to Hanham Woods at approximately 6.00pm.
Students are required to wear full Hanham Woods Academy PE kit and trainers. Students need to bring an appropriate packed lunch, including a drink (no glass bottles please). They will need suitable clothing for times when they are not competing; including a sun hat, waterproof clothing and suncream as we will be outside all day. Your child will also require 8 safety pins to attach numbers to their tops.
Your child will be representing Hanham Woods Academy; therefore, it is vital their behaviour throughout the day reflects and meets the Hanham Woods Academy standards and expectations. Failure to meet these expectations may result in a parent/carer being asked to collect their child from the venue.
