Ski Trip Meeting – 30th January 2025 (Selected Students Only)
Dear Parents/Carers
Ski Trip: Friday 14th February – Saturday 22nd February 2025 (Half Term)
I am writing to invite you to the final parents’ meeting regarding the Ski Trip taking place in February 2025. This meeting will take place in the Main Hall at the Academy on Thursday 30th January 2025, starting at 6:00pm. It is vital that you attend this meeting even if your child has been on a ski trip in the past. Your child is also invited to attend.
During this meeting further details will be given on the itinerary of the trip, including departure and return times and emergency contact information. It will also be an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have. Please bring your child’s up-to-date passport and EHIC card with you on the evening.
I would ask you to encourage your child to attend our ‘Ski Fit’ sessions every Monday after the Academy day during Term 3. Those who are more physically prepared for the trip will improve their skills the most and therefore gain most from this experience. These sessions will focus specifically on developing the students’ fitness for skiing as they will be skiing for 5 hours each day during the trip.
Finally, I have again invited Sub32 to attend the meeting if there any last-minute clothing and/or equipment issues that need sorting. Please don’t leave until last minute to organise everything your child needs though!
