Uniform Recycling Scheme

Dear Parents/Carers

We are fast approaching summer term with exams and leaving the Academy marking the next chapter for our Year 11 students. With this in mind, we are requesting student support with a new initiative.

We are introducing a school uniform recycling scheme where students will be able to donate uniform on their last day. Uniform will then be made available for students in need of additional support.

As a nation, we are entering a time of economic insecurity and here at Hanham Woods Academy we want to help in any way that we are able. With this scheme we hope to assist families by providing access to quality preloved uniform for those that may need it.

We are collecting school ties, school branded sweaters, and school branded PE uniform. Every donation received will be a big help.

For every piece of uniform donated students will receive a raffle ticket for prom night where they will have the chance to win vouchers. Uniform can be donated to duty staff on arrival or to Mr Tucker.

Thank you in advance for your help and support with this new initiative.

Kind Regards

Mr N Tucker | Teacher of Social Sciences
