Uniform – Warm Weather Update
Dear Parents/Carers,
Given the forecasted warm weather, we have made some adjustments to support students.
- Students can choose to wear their PE kit to the Academy from Thursday 14th July until the end of term
Students are not permitted to wear short cycling shorts or large branded sports clothing.
We recommend that students have with them:
- a re-fillable water bottle that they fill up regularly throughout the day.
- sun cream and sun hat (if they have PE or intend to access the fields/astro at lunch time).
We will also ensure classroom windows are open and blinds are used to allow good ventilation. This will manage the temperature in classrooms.
At break and lunch, we will open additional indoor areas so that students can get shade from the sun.
