Y11 Prom – 4th July 2024

Dear Year 11 parents,

We are so looking forward to the prom this evening.

The address for the prom is Mercure Bristol North the Grange Hotel, Northwoods, Old Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS36 1RP.

Arrivals are between 6:40pm and 7:20pm, with entry into the venue at 7:30pm. The prom finishes at 10:30pm, please be prompt with collections.

Please remember that no alcohol is available on the evening and students should not bring any alcohol with them or be under the influence of alcohol on arrival. Bag searches will take place before entry to the venue and security & staff will be present throughout the evening to ensure the safety of all our students and are authorised to carry out random bag searches if necessary. If any student arrives and is deemed to be ‘under the influence’ they will be refused entry without a refund, and you will be asked to collect them from the venue at your cost.

Parents and guests are very welcome to come to the venue to watch the arrival and entrance of students and share in this photographic opportunity. Please note however that students will not be allowed to bring guests into the venue or grounds after, therefore we ask that parents adhere to the requests of The Grange and Academy staff with regards to remaining in viewing areas. This will ensure the safe arrival of all our students in their various forms of transport. If there are any other forms of arrival such as horses, lorries etc please advise the venue so that they can advise accordingly.
