Year 11 Parent’s Evening – Wednesday 17th April 2024 – 4pm to 7pm
We are pleased to invite you to our Y11 Parents’ Evening. The is an opportunity to meet with your child’s subject teachers and discuss your child’s PPE Exam performance and targets for further improvement. It is an important part of our Academy calendar and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you in person on this evening. Appointments start at 4pm and will finish at 7pm.
To support a purposeful and informative discussion with subject teachers your child will receive their progress check certificate including their PPE grades ahead of the evening.
The booking system for this evening is electronic. Parents/Carers will be able to book appointments with teachers directly via an online booking system.

Appointment bookings open on Tuesday 19th March 2024 at 18:00 and will close on Wednesday 17th April 2024 at 12pm.
Parent/carers of students in science class 11y/sc1
Due to the number of year 11 students that Mrs Gardner and Mrs Thomas teach we are not able to have appointments with 11y/sc1 students on Wednesday 17th April. Instead, online appointments can be booked with either teacher on Thursday 18th April between 3:00pm to 4:00pm with Mrs Thomas or between 4:30pm and 6:00pm with Mrs Gardner.
Parent/carers of students in science class 11x/sc1
Mrs Gardner will be able to take online appointments for students in 11x/sc1 who would like to have a meeting regarding Chemistry on Thursday 18th April between 4:30pm and 6:00pm.
Our SENCO Mrs Hathway will also be available for appointments during parents evening. if you wish to make an appointment with her please email Mrs Cooper on [email protected]
Appointments are scheduled on a first come first served basis, therefore, we would encourage you to do this as soon as is possible to avoid disappointment. We would also encourage you to try and leave one slot between each appointment to ensure you can get to your next appointment on time. If you are unable to get an appointment there will be an option available to add yourself to the waiting list.
Once you have made appointments, you will receive an email confirming the appointments you have made. Should you wish to make any changes after this date or you do not have access to the internet, please contact Main Reception who will be happy to add/amend appointments on your behalf.
