Year 8 Pastoral Support

Dear Parents/Carers

 Thank you for supporting the Academy in ensuring a strong start to term 4 for Year 8. It has been amazing to see students really embody our values of Dream Big, Work Hard and Be Kind.  

The purpose of this letter is to provide an update on the pastoral support available to Year 8 students.

You may be aware that Mr Snow is leaving the Academy on Monday 7th March after securing a new role working outside of education. He has been a highly valued member of the team here at Hanham and I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing him well for the future. 

For an interim period, whilst the Academy recruits a new permanent Pastoral Leader, students can visit L7 and speak to any Pastoral Leader for support.  

The Pastoral Leader for Year 8 will be split as follows until the end of term 4, starting on Monday 7th March: 

This is an interim measure until the end of term 4 at which point, I hope to announce the permanent replacement. 

If you need to speak to a member of the senior leadership team at the Academy regarding a pastoral issue, please contact either of the following, who will be able to help:
