Dear Parent/Guardian,
Year 9 Triple Science Entrance Test – Important Information
I hope this letter finds you well.
Due to the high number of applications for the Year 9 Triple Science option, we have decided to conduct an entrance test in Term 5. We are aiming to keep the maximum capacity of triple class group to 34 students. Below, I have provided key details regarding the exam that your child will be sitting.
Entrance Test Details
- Date: Friday, 25th April 2025
- Time: Period 3

Students will follow their regular timetable as usual, except for Period 3 when they will sit the test. It is important that all students attend school as normal. The exam venue will be confirmed closer to the date.
As the exam approaches, we encourage students to revise thoroughly and make use of all available resources, including textbooks, revision guides, past papers, BBC bitesize etc. We understand that exams can be stressful, so we encourage students to manage their time effectively.
