Hanham Woods student is a rugby champion

Hanham Woods Academy is immensely proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Year 11 student Gracie Sheppard, who has had an incredible rugby season.

Gracie’s team, Dings Crusaders, not only triumphed in their league this year but also went on to compete in the National Cup Final.

In a commanding performance, the team defeated Sandal SRFC with a remarkable score of 43-10, securing the title of National Champions.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “We are incredibly proud of Gracie and everything she has achieved this season.

“Her dedication, teamwork, and athletic excellence are an inspiration to our school community.

“To reach the National Cup Final is a huge accomplishment in itself – but to win it in such dominant fashion is truly outstanding.”
