Support in place for you and your child during the PPEs

Dear parents/carers, PPEs start today! we have been busy preparing our students to provide them with the best chance of success in these important examinations. To keep you in the loop so that you can encourage/remind your child to take up everything on offer here is a rundown of ‘need to knows’ for the coming 11 days of exams:

  1. Arrive on time! every morning we will welcome y11 and follow up on any late/non attenders whose parent hasn’t called ahead from. Students will benefit from a quick ‘pep talk’ before each exam from the leader of each subject. Being on site with time to spare will alleviate nerves support your child’s wellbeing

  1. ‘Night-before prep’ every day students are invited to a session 3-4pm targeted to the next days exams – time table below for your information

  1. ‘Helpdesk’ every evening between 5pm and 7pm subject staff are monitoring email and will respond to any student that gets in contact.

  1. Break time is important! we are making sure that year 11 break runs a little later so that they can grab that all important snack after longer unning exams
  2. Quiet space – a quiet space will be on offer and supervised every lunchtime so that students can either review or just decompress
