Yellow Ticket Scheme

Dear Parents/Carers

From Monday 4th March 2024 the Academy is introducing the ‘Yellow Ticket Scheme’ to enable students with no money on their SCOPAY account to still access food.  This will be for emergency food provision only for those students without food and no money on their fingerprint.

If a student wishes to purchase food items but has no money on their account then they will be sent to the admin office by a member of duty staff to obtain a ‘Yellow Ticket’.  They will then return to the canteen and hand this ticket in payment for food up to the value of £2.40.  At this point, their account will go into debt.

At the end of each day a text message will be sent home to inform parents/carers that this money has been spent and that they need to upload funds to the student’s account to clear the debt.

If you require any further information or clarification on the above, please do contact Mrs Linda Hall, Senior Operations Manager at [email protected].

Yours sincerely

Mr S O’Callaghan | Academy Principal
