Our GCSE results day on 22nd August 2019 was featured locally in the Hanham and Longwell Green Voice. We are very proud of all of our GCSE students and their wonderful results.

Our Year 9 student, Betsy Bax, is a European BMX champion. Well done Betsy! Betsy won the competition for under 12’s girls held in Belgium and fought off fierce competition from an international field of over 50 riders to claim this coveted prize. CLICK HERE to watch the interview

Hanham Woods Academy Year 10 Boys won the Woodcock Shield, played at Ashton Gate Stadium on 1st May 2019. Our Year 10 team travelled to Ashton Gate stadium for the final of the Woodcock Shield. This is one of the oldest schoolboy cup competitions in the country and
